Arrival Baku
Meet and assist at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Transfer to Baku city centre hotel. Evening: Caspian Sea waterfront promenade (Baku Boulevard) — one of the longest promenades in the world, with views of the Flame Towers (the iconic modern towers that form Baku's skyline). Welcome dinner at a traditional Azerbaijani restaurant in the Old City. Overnight: Baku.

Baku City — Old City + Heydar Aliyev Centre
Morning: Old City (Icherisheher) — UNESCO-listed walled city with the 12th century Maiden Tower, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, caravanserais and traditional craft workshops. Midday: Heydar Aliyev Centre — the fluid white architectural landmark designed by Zaha Hadid, one of the most photographed modern buildings in the world. Afternoon: Highland Park with panoramic city views. Evening: optional Azerbaijani dinner and mugham music (traditional music genre, UNESCO Intangible Heritage). Overnight: Baku.

Baku Day Trip — Gobustan + Yanar Dag
Morning: Gobustan National Park (45 minutes from Baku) — 40,000+ petroglyphs dating from 12,000–8,000 BC, and the famous mud volcanoes. Azerbaijan has more mud volcanoes than any other country in the world — the landscape is otherworldly and unique. Afternoon: Yanar Dag — the "burning mountain" where natural gas seeps create an eternal flame across the hillside. Evening: shopping on Nizami Street. Overnight: Baku.

Baku → Gabala
Morning transfer to Gabala through the Greater Caucasus mountain foothills — approximately 2.5 hours through increasingly dramatic scenery. Gabala is a mountain resort town with a very different feel to Baku — cooler, forested, quieter. Afternoon: cable car ride and Nohur Lake viewpoint. Optional archery, ATV rides or shooting sports at the Gabala Shooting Club. Overnight: Gabala (Qafqaz Riverside or similar).

Gabala Mountains + Return Baku
Morning: optional hike or jeep safari in the mountain scenery around Gabala. Visit to the Nij village — home to the Udi people, one of the oldest Christian communities in the Caucasus. Afternoon: return transfer to Baku (2.5 hours). Evening at leisure in Baku for last-night dining or souvenir shopping. Overnight: Baku.

Morning at leisure. Transfer to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for departure. Airport assistance included.
